Verdant Telemetry & Antenna Systems Pvt. Ltd. Achieves AS9100 Revision B Certification.

Verdant telemetry & antenna systems pvt.Ltd is pleased to announce our certification to AS9100 Rev B and ISO 9001:2000 by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). This certification is the culmination of months of careful planning and preparation at "VERDANT", and represents our continuing commitment to superior quality and outstanding customer service. The certification is accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB).

AS 9100 is a single, common Quality Management System for the whole aerospace industry, satisfying DOD, NASA, and FAA quality requirements. It totally encompasses ISO 9001, combining it with additional requirements designed specifically to address Regulatory Compliance and other aerospace sector specific issues. AS9100 is a widely adopted and standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry. ISO 9001 and AS9100 are internationally developed and recognized standards for Business Management and Quality assurance, specifically designed to reduce manufacturing defects, foster continuous improvement, and boost overall customer satisfaction.

To be certified as ISO 9001:2000 compliant Verdant underwent an one-year evaluation process that included quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that elimination non-conformance to the quality management standard. The process culminated in a comprehensive three-day registration audit by UL. After correction and closure of all non conformances, Verdant received its AS 9100 Rev B and ISO 9001:2000 certificate of registration on June 29, 2009.

"VERDANT" is an industry leader in the design & manufacture of Airborne antenna and Radomes. The Company has been a supplier to the Indian & world aerospace industry for many years and already holds a raft of approvals from the Ministry of Indian Defense like Center for Military Airworthiness & Certification (CEMILAC) and Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Govt. of India.

AS 9100 Rev.B QMS Implementation programme was launched on 26th August 2008.

Objective:


The objective of this programme is to design and implement Quality Management System as per the standard AS 9100 Rev.B

Purpose of QMS implementation:


The purpose is to improve the performance of Verdant and achieve sustained success with a sole objective of customer satisfaction that allows the business to continually improve and develop.
